ST. AUGUSTINE MATRIC. HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL

St. Augustine Matric. Higher Secondary School was started in Onnalvadi village, Hosur Taluk, Tamil Nadu by the Augustinian Missionary Sisters on 19th June 1996 with the motto “Searching for the Truth”. We are involved in the mission of imparting education, moral and spiritual values and discipline to help build leaders who will bring about a culture of peace and love which our society and country needs today with the vision and charisma of the management and with committed teachers and with the purpose of fulfilling the following goals and objective.

The school has spacious, well-equipped Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science Laboratories. Models, Specimens, Displays, Charts, Learning Kits, Audio-Visual Equipment, etc. help teachers demonstrate, validate and establish various phenomena, and facilitate children verify theories, and relate to fundamental principles and concepts and match their expectations.

Well-resourced library with a vast collection of books, that include fiction, non-fiction, biographies, encyclopaedias, storybooks, picture books, dictionaries and reference books on various subjects creates an inviting ambience for the young readers.

Smartboards in classrooms have become an almost indispensable part of the teaching-learning process.
